The Lutterzand is a unique nature reserve and an excellent spot for a day out for both young and old.

Lutterzand is accessible all year round and you can walk and cycle on the designated paths. Dogs are also allowed, provided they are kept on a leash.

Here, the Dinkel forms the jagged border between lower-lying stream valley grasslands and a vast, higher shifting sand area. The steep Dinkel banks here provide a source of information on the history of the Dinkel valley from the last ice age.
