House rules
In the regulations below, you will find the main house rules that apply within our hotel. We ask you to respect and accept these rules.

 

General rules

  • All instructions from employees of this hotel, related to house rules, must be followed. Complaints can be reported to the management.
  • In case of fire, stay calm. Report fire to reception and/or punch the nearest fire alarm.
  • In case of a general fire alarm, leave the building immediately and assemble on the forecourt at the assembly point.
  • In case of fire, do not use the lifts under any circumstances.
  • Valid identification must be shown at check-in. Check-in is possible from the age of 18. Minors must always be accompanied by a person aged 18 or older. Minors must always have a parental certificate. You will also be asked to provide a credit card guarantee. If you do not have a credit card, you will pay a deposit of €150.
  • There are cameras in various places within the hotel. Everyone who is in our hotel consents to recordings being made. In the event of calamities and/or incidents, these recordings may be shown to the authorities as supporting material.
  • Lost property should be handed in at reception.
  • Van der Valk Theaterhotel Almelo is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings.
  • The management, the owner of this venue and/or persons working for the hotel cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage, which may be suffered by visitors to the venue.

It is forbidden to

  • Emergency exits to be used as normal entrances and exits.
  • Taking hotel property outside the building. When wilfully damaging property of Van der Valk Theaterhotel Almelo, one can be held liable for the repair and/or renewal costs.
  • Consuming, using, trafficking or carrying narcotics.
  • Use and/or bring nitrous oxide during your visit to our hotel. We will confiscate nitrous oxide bottles and cartridges brought in and you will not receive them back.
  • Causing a nuisance to another person through loud music, obnoxious behaviour or noise of any kind.
  • Staying in the room with more than the permitted number of people.
  • The paid hosting of guests in the room for the purpose of sexual activities.
